February 2026 Monthly Newsletter
February 2026 – American Heart Month
February is recognized as American Heart Month, a national observance dedicated to raising awareness about heart disease — the leading cause of death for both men and women in the United States. The initiative encourages individuals and families to adopt heart-healthy habits such as regular physical activity, nutritious eating, and routine health screenings.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) supports American Heart Month by providing educational resources, data, and prevention tools focused on heart disease risk factors, warning signs of heart attack and stroke, and strategies for maintaining cardiovascular health.
