DFOWW Inc. Supports Families During Government Shutdowns
During government shutdowns, millions of families lose access to vital nutrition programs like SNAP and WIC. DFOWW Incorporated is committed to providing supplemental food items during these times to ensure no family faces food insecurity alone.
“With inflation, the government shutdown, and other economic challenges, we’ve seen a 100% increase in requests for free food distributions throughout Atlanta and the metro area,” said DFOWW Founder Daphany Williams-DuBois.
Food insecurity affects both physical and emotional well-being—especially for parents uncertain about their next meal. Through our Write-Right Nutrition Program (WRNP), DFOWW continues to bridge the gap by providing free meals, groceries, and personal care items to families in need.

Community Announcement: Our Nonprofit Van Needs Repairs
Our delivery van—vital for transporting free meals, groceries, and food across Atlanta—needs a new transmission. Without it, our outreach capacity is at risk. Help Us Keep Feeding Atlanta’s Families! We’re raising $5,000 to repair the van and continue serving those in need.

The Write-Right Nutrition Program (WRNP)
The WRNP addresses food insecurity in low-income communities, particularly among families with children. Participants receive nutrition education and a complimentary healthy meal during each workshop. The program includes six in-person workshops (24 total hours). Graduates who complete all sessions receive a certificate of completion. The program is free for children under 17. WRNP not only provides food but also empowers families to make informed, sustainable nutrition choices.
The Write-Right Entrepreneurship Program (WREP)
The WREP guides aspiring entrepreneurs and nonprofit founders through the process of establishing and sustaining a nonprofit organization in Georgia. It also offers mentorship for youth interested in entrepreneurship—helping participants gain the skills and confidence needed to create lasting community impact through innovation and self-reliance.
The Write-Right Literacy Program (WRLP)
The WRLP offers both in-person and virtual workshops aligned with Common Core standards to improve literacy outcomes in low-income communities. This program supports: Adults (18+) without a high school diploma, preparing for the GED Reasoning Through Language Arts test. At-risk youth (ages 16–17) with verified parental consent. The WRLP is proudly listed on the National Literacy Directory (NLD) website.
