We believe that providing special workshops, free to everyone, provides supplementary academic support to low income, minority individuals and communities worldwide who are on their path to literacy.

Please welcome our new Write-Right Literacy Program Instructor Professor Chimere Parker. Professor Chimere Parker is from Detroit, Michigan. She has always been a city girl and a blue-collar worker at heart. She earned her Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts, both in English, from Marygrove College in Detroit. She is currently in the process of studying for her PhD in education.
She started teaching K-12 in 2003. While she enjoyed the experience, she wanted to involve herself in a more critical aspect of learning where she was able to see immediate results. After working an office administration position from 2006-2007, Chimere decided to take a chance and teach on the college level.
She began teaching English, speech, and business writing classes in 2008 and enjoys her role as an English Professor. She is currently teaching both online and on ground classes and has enjoyed seeing her students through their time in her courses. She is also an avid reader and has the deepest passion for writing. Her motto for her students when it comes to learning is to “always enjoy the moment.” We are so delighted to have Professor Parker join our team.
dfoww, Incorporated officially partnered with the Sprouts Framers Market. We sincerely appreciate their support and generosity.
On July 1, 2021, dfoww, Incorporated resumed scheduling our free community literacy events. Our community events will be hosted at the Kirkwood Branch Library. The library is located at the following address: 11 Kirkwood Road, NE Atlanta, Georgia 30317. Light refreshments will be served while supplies last.
