dfoww, Incorporated’s special online reading and writing workshop curriculum is different from the 14 week Write-Right Literacy Program in which interested participants must meet certain requirements in order to register and be enrolled in the program. We believe that providing special workshops, free to everyone, provides supplementary academic support to low income, minority individuals and communities worldwide who are on their path to literacy.
Additional Announcements
The Summer semester 2021 Write-Right Literacy Program (WRLP) begins on Monday, June 14, 2021. The final day to register for the summer semester will be on Thursday, June 10, 2021 (Updated). All registration applications must be received by 5pm EST. Students who successfully complete the program will be eligible to receive a financial reward scholarship.
Our special online reading and writing workshops i.e., – Logophiles, Word of the Day, Auspicious Learners, Affinity for Adjectives, Lexicon Geeks, Basic Rules of Grammar and Worksheets will resume, beginning July 1, 2021 (Updated).

All monthly special reading and writing workshop and the Write-Right Literacy Program schedules will be available on the 3rd calendar day of each month on our website in the Announcement category. Please note, the date may be subject to change depending on national holidays and the board of directors’ recess periods.
We have also updated our Logophiles word game rules. Winners will receive $10.
Please welcome our newest board members: Dr. Whitney Adams, Ms. Tamatha Smith, Mr. Aaron Coutee and Ms. Renee Leverette, Esq. Dr. Adams is the new Chair of the Teaching Committee. Ms. Smith and Mr. Coutee both serve on the Teaching Committee. Attorney Ms. Leverette is the board Secretary and she also serves on the Editing Committee. We are so delighted to have them serve on dfoww Incorporated’s board of directors.
Please welcome our newest staff member Ms. Ciara Callwood. Ms. Callwood is the WRLP instructor.
Due to the nature of the COVID-19 pandemic, dfoww, Incorporated has suspended all community events until further notice. Dfoww, Incorporated will resume scheduling community events once we receive notification from the Centers for Disease Control that all public activities may resume as normal.
